Diane Bashor and our Senior Project Manager, Caryl Francis-Niedens has earned the designation of Certified Facility Manager (CFM). Through involvement with the International Facility Management Association and through experience in the facility management field, they have acquired the knowledge base needed to pass the required test to obtain this designation. There is a re-certification every three years. The CFM designation is the only reliable global standard for recognizing the achievements of facility managers.
IFMA developed certification to meet the recognized need of the facility management profession for a designation that would not only help FM's gain additional credibility but also establish increased global recognition for the profession.
Goals of IFMA's certification program:
FMExtension, Inc. has been certified as a "Woman Business Enterprise" (WBE). This designation has been attained through the City of Kansas City, Missouri, The State of Missouri and the Women's Business Development Center.
Government agencies and hundreds of national corporations are working to diversify their supplier base by identifying opportunities to do business with women owned companies. The WBDC provides a company with a nationally recognized certification through its partnership with the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. Over 400 corporations accept their certification, as well as several local government agencies.
